Work-calendar mirror
If you juggle several calendars, the mirror gives you one place to look. Meetingpad copies every real event from your ticked source calendars into a single destination.
Setting it up
- Menubar → Calendars….
- Tick the calendars you want to include in the mirror (usually your identity calendars).
- Under Work Calendar mirror, pick a destination calendar. This is usually a new empty iCloud calendar (create one in Calendar.app first).
- Turn Mirror real events into this calendar on.
- Hide your source calendars in Calendar.app and look only at the Work calendar.
How it stays in sync
Meetingpad runs a reconcile every 30 seconds while it's open: any new event in a source calendar shows up in the mirror; edits propagate; deletions remove the mirror copy. The mirror only covers the next 14 days by default.
Traceability
Every mirrored event's notes carry a header line like:
[meeting-scheduler-mirror] source:<event-id> synced:2026-07-15T18:00Z updated:2026-07-15T18:00Z
Use these timestamps to trace when a mirrored event first appeared and when it was last touched.
Cross-calendar blockers
Separately, Meetingpad can drop private "Blocked" placeholders on your other identity calendars whenever you have a real meeting on one. This prevents double-booking when guests check availability. Toggle it via Mirror busy across calendars in the menubar popover.
Free tier vs Pro
Cross-calendar blockers and work-calendar mirror are Pro-only. Free-tier users see the toggles disabled.
