Connecting identities
An identity is a Google account you want Meetingpad to book meetings for. Each identity has its own booking link and sends its own calendar invites.
Why multiple identities?
If you juggle a personal and a work calendar, or run a side project, you don't want a guest booking a work meeting on your personal calendar (or vice versa). Meetingpad lets you keep them separate — different links, different senders, but one unified free/busy view so you never double-book.
Adding an identity
- Click the menubar icon → Settings → Identities.
- Click Add identity.
- Sign in to the Google account you want to add.
- Grant the requested scopes (Gmail send, Calendar events, Drive).
- Give the identity a display name (e.g. "Personal", "Acme Corp").
Free tier vs Pro
The Free plan supports one identity. Pro supports as many as you need.
Removing an identity
Settings → Identities → click the identity → Remove. This deletes the identity's booking links and OAuth tokens from Meetingpad's server. Past bookings stay on Google Calendar; we can't reach into your calendar to delete them.
What scopes we ask for and why
- Gmail send — to email calendar invites for events without Google Meet.
- Calendar events — to create bookings and cross-calendar blockers.
- Drive — for the follow-up email feature (auto-shares a Google Doc with attendees).
We do not ask for full mailbox read, contacts, or admin scopes.
