Event types & booking links

An event type defines the shape of a bookable meeting on one of your identities: how long it is, what hours you offer, whether it uses Google Meet.

Creating an event type

  1. Menubar → Event typesNew event type.
  2. Pick the identity it belongs to.
  3. Set a name (visible to bookers), a duration, and a description.
  4. Set working hours per day and buffer time.
  5. Choose whether the event includes Google Meet.
  6. Save. Meetingpad shows you the booking link — copy and share.

Anatomy of a booking link

Booking links look like meetingpad.io/b/<identity>/<event-type>. Guests see a mobile-friendly page with a week view of available slots; picking one triggers the invite immediately.

Availability rules

Meetingpad computes free/busy from every enabled source calendar in your Calendar app (see Calendar selection). Blocked time is respected across identities: a work meeting blocks personal availability and vice versa.

Editing or deleting

Menubar → Event types → click the row. Edit and save, or use Delete. Deleting invalidates the public booking link (guests get a "not found" page).

Custom links (coming soon)

Date-restricted links (e.g. "for the next two weeks only") are planned. Let us know if you need this.
