Effective 2026-07-19
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Meetingpad service, including our website at meetingpad.io, our macOS application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), provided by Meetingpad ("Meetingpad", "we", "us", or "our"), a company organized under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
To use most Service features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep it current, and safeguard your credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us at help@meetingpad.io of any unauthorized use.
Meetingpad offers a free plan and paid subscription plans ("Pro"). Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance through our payment processor. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated by us. You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time via the Stripe customer portal or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may change our pricing on 30 days' notice; changes apply at your next renewal.
New accounts receive a 14-day Pro trial. No card is required to start. If you do not upgrade before the trial ends, your account continues on the Free plan and any Pro-only data (extra identities, unlimited polls, etc.) becomes read-only until you upgrade.
The Service integrates with Google (for calendar access, sending invites, and Drive sharing) and Anthropic (for optional AI drafting). Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms. When you connect your own Anthropic API key, you are solely responsible for usage charges from Anthropic and for compliance with Anthropic's terms.
You may not use the Service to: (a) send unsolicited bulk email or spam; (b) impersonate any person or entity; (c) violate any law or the rights of others; (d) circumvent plan limits, security features, or rate limits; (e) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our software, except as permitted by law; (f) resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties without our written consent.
You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service (event titles, invitee lists, poll content, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit it as necessary to provide the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
The Meetingpad name, logo, website, and software are the property of Meetingpad and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in our IP except a limited license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Meetingpad grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Meetingpad macOS application on Macs you own or control, solely to use the Service.
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any feature) at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes when practical.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEETINGPAD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $50 USD.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Meetingpad and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms us or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately; your data will be handled per the Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
