Install & sign in
1. Download and install
- Go to meetingpad.io/download and click Download for Mac.
- Open the downloaded
Meetingpad.dmg. - Drag Meetingpad into Applications.
- Launch Meetingpad from Applications or Spotlight.
2. Grant calendar access
On first launch, macOS will ask permission for Meetingpad to access your calendars. Click OK.
Meetingpad uses EventKit locally to compute your free/busy. It never sends event contents off your Mac.
3. Sign in
Click the menubar icon (a calendar with a clock). You'll be prompted to sign in — this creates your Meetingpad account and starts your 14‑day Pro trial (no card required).
Sign in options: Continue with Apple, Continue with Google, or magic link via email.
4. Add your first identity
An identity is a Google account you want to book meetings for. Click Add identity, sign in to Google, and grant Meetingpad permission to send emails and manage events on that calendar.
Scope note: Meetingpad asks for Gmail send (to email invites), Calendar events (to create bookings), and Drive (to auto-share Google Docs in follow-up emails, Pro only).
5. Create an event type
Click Event types in the menubar → New event type. Set the duration, working hours, and whether to include Google Meet. Save, and your booking link is ready to share.
Next steps
- Add more identities — one per Google account you want to book against.
- Run your first group poll for meetings with more than one guest.
- Connect an Anthropic key to enable AI-drafted messaging (Pro).
